Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Looking for Authors

Washington Crossing (PA), Trenton and Princeton (NJ) are an ideal locations for author events and/or lectures. Our audiences are interested in books and lectures on the indigenous people of the Middle Atlantic, British America and Colonial Life, the War for Independence, the Early Republic, the history of the Delaware Valley, New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.  Each venue has membership mailing lists, and promotional newsletters to draw interested, book buying audiences. For children's books, we actively reach out to local schools and scouting organizations. Certain venues offer sales to reporting lists and programming is managed by book publishing professionals that can facilitate the logistical details for author travel and accommodation. In some cases, accommodations can be provided.

The Ten Crucial Days Historic area includes the Pennsylvania and New Jersey parks at Washington Crossing, Trenton and Princeton New Jersey.  Just eleven miles from Trenton NJ Amtrak Transit Center, forty minutes north of Philadelphia International Airport. Princeton is twenty minutes from Trenton NJ’s Amtrak Transit Center, fifty minutes south of Newark International Airport. The demographic audiences are distinct so there are multiple speaking opportunities. All venues have extensive membership lists and send press announcements to media throughout Central Jersey.

Title information is also sent to the appropriate gift shop buyers at the venues of the Ten Crucial Days historic sites. For approved titles, we can also make arrangements to arrange for drop in visits at regional booksellers to sign stock*.  If you are interested in promoting your work(s), please use this form to contact us. We will match you with the most appropriate venue, and, facilitate book ordering. (*Escort fees may apply).
