Colonial Camp | Ages 6-8
July 13, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Want to find out what life was like 300 years ago? Colonial camp is a fun-filled week of hands-on history. Children will don their own 17th century clothing and step back to a time when food and medicine came from the garden and the major route into the city was the river. With a different theme every day, Colonial Campers will make and play 17th century games, learn wool carding and spinning, meet the animals, and cook in the kitchen house. At the end of the week parents and caregivers are invited to return for a camper-led living history tour of the site.
Colonial Camp is for children ages 6-8. Reservations are required and space is limited. Camp runs from July 11th-15th, from 10 am to 3 pm. For registration information, email Kerry Scott at c-kerscott@pa.gov. Cost is $235 for Pennsbury Society Members and $265 for non-Members.
