This presentation chronicles the rise of the NewDeal’s Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) as a consequence of the Dust Bowl andthe Great Depression of the 1930s. Black and white Depression-era film clips,narration and CCC alumni interviews tell the story of the role of the CCC innatural resource conservation and park and forest management throughout thenation.
