DESCRIPTION:Tai Chi with our steadfast volunteers and beloved teachers Lisa and Robert! They’ll be leading classes by the River for all levels on Saturday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Wear comfy clothes\, no mat required. \nFind us on River Drive in the lower park\, in front of the main parking lot. There is no entry fee in the lower park but parking is limited so biking\, walking and carpooling is recommended. CDC recommended social distancing will be in place. Classes are free\, however donations are deeply appreciated! \nWe meet in front of the second parking lot\, between the Nelson House and the restroom in the lower park\, along the Delaware River.

SUMMARY:Autumn Market & Encampment
DESCRIPTION:Travel back in time and experience life in a Revolutionary War camp during Washington Crossing Historic Park’s annual Autumn Encampment & Market on Saturday\, October 15\, from noon to 4 PM. \nTickets are $8 for adults\, $4 for children age five to 11\, and free members\, active duty military\, and children under five. A family ticket is available for 2 adults and 2 children under 18 living in the same household. Admission to Bowman’s Hill Tower is free with event wristband. \nWhat To Expect\nAt Autumn Market & Encampment\, colonial townspeople gather at their marketplace in the Historic Village area of the park to sell their wares. Soldiers drill 18th-century military tactics\, and the park’s fife and drum corps will perform throughout the day. The Introductory film will be shown at 12:30\, 1:30\, 2:30 and 3:30.  In-between showings at 12:45\, 1:45\, 2:45 and 3:45\, Historical Interpreter and Author David Price\, will be giving 15 minute talks on the famous painting Washington Crossing the Delaware by Emmanuel Leutze \nFamilies will enjoy a wide array of activities including crafts\, spinning and weaving demonstrations\, and one-on-one interaction with colonial reenactors. \nThis event will be held rain or shine.
