SUMMARY:Trail Stewards Work Day
DESCRIPTION:Trail Stewards meet monthly at the Park’s Nature Center under the enthusiastic direction of Park employee Kevin Kavanaugh\, clearing trails\, removing brush\, and constructing water bars and other trail necessities. You will also have the option of removing invasive plants. The Stewards often meet for lunch afterwards\, courtesy of the WCPA. \nTools are provided although you’re encouraged to bring gloves or loppers if you like. Participants should wear sunscreen\, sturdy work clothes and boots\, and bring water. \nIf you’ve never volunteered with us before\, please arrive at 8:45 at the Nature Center to fill out Volunteer Application Forms. Anyone who volunteers for two sessions will receive one of our AWESOME t-shirts!
