DESCRIPTION:The WCPA Trail Stewards make up our most beloved and active team. They meet monthly at the Park’s Nature Center under the enthusiastic direction of Park employee Kevin Kavanaugh\, clearing trails\, removing brush\, and constructing water bars and other trail necessities. They meet for lunch afterwards\, courtesy of the WCPA. Tools are provided. Participants should wear sturdy work clothes and boots. Once you complete your initial training you’ll receive our fantastic WCPA Trail Stewards t-shirt!

SUMMARY:Weekly Living History Programs
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a series of Free Weekly Living History programs that we will be conducting in the park on Fridays in April – June at the Lower Park\, and then Fridays and Saturdays in July – September at the Thompson Neely Farmstead. \nThese programs will cover a variety of topics surrounding the life of Soldiers and civilians during the American Revolution. \nReenactors and demonstrators will discuss the topic/activity they are portraying while also providing context for how this would affect life during the American Revolution. \nJuly – September demonstrations will take place at 12:00pm\, 1:00pm and 2:00pm. \nWeekly Living History Programs are sponsored by the Albert W. Bader Foundation\, Americana Corner and generous contributions from Christopher and Mary Jane Beck and the Starke Family.

SUMMARY:New Jersey's Unknown Intelligence Network During and After the Ten Crucial Days
DESCRIPTION:Russ Dutcher will speak about New Jersey’s Unknown Intelligence Network during and after the Ten Crucial Days campaign (December 25\, 1776 – January 3\, 1777). The presentation will be held in the Visitor Center Museum’s auditorium at 2:00 PM.   \nThe Visitor Center Museum will be open from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. featuring The Swan Historical Foundation’s Collection of 500+ Colonial and Revolutionary War artifacts.  \nThe Visitor Center Museum can be reached from I-95 by taking the Trenton/Lambertville Exit (this is the first exit in New Jersey heading north and the last exit heading south). Continue north on Route 29 for 2 ½ miles and turn right at the first traffic light.  Park Entrance will be on your left in a ½ mile.  Enter the park and follow the signs to the Visitor Center Museum.    \nFor more information call (609) 737-0623.
