DESCRIPTION:Join the Washington Crossing Park Association (WCPA) Conservation Crew for a forest restoration project along the historic Continental Lane trail. Participants will briefly learn about how invasive species are impacting New Jersey's forests. Then we'll get to work removing invasive plants to support the restoration of this important ecosystem! \n📍 Location: Knox Grove at Washington Crossing State Park (NJ) \nNo experience necessary. Dress for the weather. Bring work gloves and loppers or a shovel if you have them. We will provide extra gloves and tools.

SUMMARY:Monthly Living History June 2025
DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n \nJoin us each month as historical interpreters and reenactors bring a piece of history to life at Washington Crossing Historic Park. Each month’s program will run from 11-3\, and will cover various aspects on military life during the American Revolution. The programs will take place on the 2nd Saturday of each month April – September. There is no admission or registration\, all you have to do is show up and be ready to learn something new! \n  \nThis month will have our reenactors constructing ‘brushhuts’ as part of their encampment. Learn from our reenactors on how the army built shelter for itself while on campaign\, and how the enlisted men of the Continental army lived and worked together while not on the battlefield.
