DESCRIPTION:As our area prepares for 2026 and the country’s 250th anniversary\, Washington Crossing Historic Park in PA and Washington Crossing State Park in NJ are working hard to prepare for the many of thousands of visitors expected to our shores. We invite you to join us in getting these nationally-known historic sites ready for their close ups! \nThis event is rain or shine\, and will only be cancelled in the case of severe weather. We’ll supply bug spray\, but you’ll have to be on the lookout for poison ivy and slippery rocks\, not to mention variable water levels and river currents. That’s what makes it FUN! \nThis event is a partnership of NJ’s Washington Crossing Park Association and PA’s Friends of Washington Crossing Park. \nThis year’s event will be in NJ only…MEET US AT THE NEW JERSEY PARK’S NELSON HOUSE\, on River Drive in Titusville\, NJ. DESCRIPTION:Dressed in colonial clothing and performing rousing period songs and stories\, Matthew Dodd will take you back in time to the days of the American Revolution.  Mr. Dodd sings and plays the guitar\, banjo\, mandolin and recorder throughout the show.  The outdoor performance will take place at 2 PM at Sullivan’s Grove next to the Visitor Center Museum at Washington Crossing State Park in Titusville\, New Jersey.
