SUMMARY:Second Battle of Trenton Reenactment
DESCRIPTION:Come experience our annual winter reenactment during Trenton’s Patriots\nWeek Celebration! On Saturday\, December 28th\, be immersed in history as you\nare surrounded by reenactors portraying the soldiers who fought during the\nBattles of Trenton\, which ultimately shaped the destiny of the\nRevolutionary War and our nation. Follow the troops through the streets and\nwatch as they relive the events of these fateful battles. Come back to\ninteract with the soldiers\, take tours of the oldest free-standing military\nbarracks in North America\, and visit The Quartermaster’s Store. What better\nway to celebrate New Jersey’s revolutionary history than by celebrating\nthis crucial Trenton victory? \nThe first battle will begin at 11am at the Trenton Battle Monument and take\nplace on Warren Street. The second battle will begin at 3pm and take place\nin Mill Hill Park on the Assunpink Creek. The Old Barracks Museum is\nlocated at 101 Barrack Street\, Trenton\, NJ. Parking for the event is free\,\nclose\, and plentiful\, available in the small lot next to the museum as well\nas the lot next to The War Memorial. There is special reduced pricing for\nthis event. The battles are free to the public\, and entrance onto the\nmuseum grounds is $5 per person (children 5 and under are free). \nThis event is hosted by the Old Barracks Museum and is part of Patriots\nWeek\, a week-long celebration of Trenton’s revolutionary history.
