Autumn Market & Encampment

Travel back in time and experience life in a Revolutionary War camp during Washington Crossing Historic Park’s annual Autumn Encampment & Market on Saturday, October 15, from noon to 4 PM.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for children age five to 11, and free members, active duty military, and children under five. A family ticket is available for 2 adults and 2 children under 18 living in the same household. Admission to Bowman’s Hill Tower is free with event wristband.
What To Expect
At Autumn Market & Encampment, colonial townspeople gather at their marketplace in the Historic Village area of the park to sell their wares. Soldiers drill 18th-century military tactics, and the park’s fife and drum corps will perform throughout the day. The Introductory film will be shown at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30. In-between showings at 12:45, 1:45, 2:45 and 3:45, Historical Interpreter and Author David Price, will be giving 15 minute talks on the famous painting Washington Crossing the Delaware by Emmanuel Leutze
Families will enjoy a wide array of activities including crafts, spinning and weaving demonstrations, and one-on-one interaction with colonial reenactors.
