What?   The Ten Crucial Days Historic Area of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and Mercer County, New Jersey (including the parks at Washington Crossing, Trenton, and Princeton) are ideal for author events and/or lectures. Audiences are interested in books and lectures on the Indigenous people of the Middle Atlantic, British America and Colonial Life, the War for Independence, the Early Republic, and the history of the Delaware Valley, New Jersey, and eastern Pennsylvania.

Where?The Ten Crucial Days Historic Area is in Amtrak's Northeast Corridor, near the Trenton, NJ Amtrak Transit Center, Trenton/Mercer Airport (TTN), forty minutes north of Philadelphia International Airport. Princeton is twenty minutes from Trenton, NJ’s Amtrak Transit Center, fifty minutes south of Newark International Airport.

When?    Each season of the year has opportunities. A few events are scheduled in the first quarter at the historic sites. Winter weather notwithstanding, Q1 is an excellent time for event planning. The second quarter is more of a challenge, but there are opportunities to be included in the annual events as the sites are open for tours and programs. In July and August, take a road trip to see the dozens of Revolutionary War sites and museums in Bucks County and Mercer County. September through December is our busy season! Everyone has returned to the region from vacation, and there are many annual events and anniversaries.

How?    Programming is managed by professionals who can facilitate the logistical details for author travel and accommodation. The Delaware Valley has several distinct demographic audiences, so there are multiple speaking opportunities.
