Freedom Hike
July 4, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Start your Independence Day off correctly with a 2.5-mile hike in one of America’s most sacred historical landscapes! On Sunday, July 4 at 10 AM, experience a summer morning in Bucks County with the park naturalist as you walk along the banks of Washington Crossing Historic Park and the Delaware Canal Towpath.
A variety of natural history and recreation topics will be discussed along the trail. Please bring questions and prepare yourself by wearing sturdy footwear, bringing a full water bottle, and reviewing the park map before traveling. The meeting place is at the front of the Visitor Center.
Registration is not required but highly appreciated. For more information or to register, please contact park naturalist Matt Truesdale at mtruesdale@pa.gov.
