Meet some of the most fascinating and misunderstood soldiers of the American Revolution: Hessians. Reenactors will offer a glimpse into their experiences here in America and how they factored into Washington’s crossing of the Delaware!

This free event is part of our Monthly Living History Series. From April through October 2026, Washington Crossing Historic Park hosts Soldier Saturdays & Farmstead Fridays. Presented in partnership with Americana Corner, these free monthly programs explore military and civilian life during the American Revolution.

Explore civilian life during the Revolution with hands-on demonstrations. Programs take place on the 4th Friday of each month.

Garden Tours
Step into the sights, scents, and stories of an 18th-century kitchen garden on these guided tours, held at the Hibbs Garden, the same day as Farmstead Fridays, at 12:30pm (registration required)
